What's the best book I've read so far this year?
"A Complicated Kindness", by Miriam Toews.
I picked it up - along with all the Potters - at the UBC bookstore just before I went on holidays (gotta have books on a two week sailing trip). It is probably the truest book I have read in a while in terms of character. I bought that character.
Well worth the read. I ripped through it in under two days. Couldn't put it down.
